vendor opportunities


Just Between Friends Portland offers the opportunity to promote your mom-, baby-, child-, or family-related business!  Our events draws over 4,000 people who are primarily parents (and parents-to-be!) of young children.  You have the chance to be face to face with potential customers for three full days within a reasonable budget.  **Please note that this event specifically targets parents and caregivers, not children. 


Vendor Opportunities Include: 

Vendor Booths and/or JBF Goody Bags

Vendor Booth Package:

  • Three days of face to face contact with potential customers.

  • 10' by 10' booth that includes one 8-foot undraped banquet table, one chair, 8’ draped back wall & 3’ draped side walls, 7” by 44” ID sign, one 3-day Expo parking pass, 2  Pre-Sale passes to shop before the public! 

  • 100 word description of your business, a logo or picture, and your contact information on our "Friends of JBF" web page.

  • Preferential Placement at Sale available at an additional cost.  These spaces are limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis.

  • Electrical Access available at an additional cost.

**PLEASE NOTE:  Vendor booth space is limited.  Spaces are given on a first come first served basis per business type.  (In other words, we would prefer to have booths that offer a variety of services as opposed to 5 of the same.)  Sorry, vendors in direct competition with the sale will not be accepted. 

Discounts (on Vendor Booths only) are available for:

  • Vendors who also participate as consignors (minimum of 25 items or a total value of $100).  **Please note that this $20 discount will be applied in your consignor check after the sale.

  • Businesses that post a link to the Just Between Friends site on your web page (this $20 discount is available only until one month before the Sale). 

  • We now offer a 50% discount to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations for shared booth space.

JBF Goody Bags:

Promote your business in the JBF Goody Bags which will be distributed to the first 500/1000 lucky shoppers at JBF!  Upon acceptance, you will be responsible for delivering your 500 or 1,000 ads/coupons/free gifts/brochures to us no later than two weeks prior to the sale.  Fee is $50 for 500 pieces of literature or $90 for 1,000 pieces (50% discount for 501(c)3 non-profit organizations).  Pieces must be smaller than 8.5"x11."  If 8.5" x 11" pieces are used, they must be folded in half prior to delivery.  If you choose to submit 1,000 pieces, you must separate them into 2 separate bundles of 500 pieces prior to delivery.  Please see below for an Application & Waiver.

Deadline:
Deadline for payment & delivery of literature for inclusion in goody bags is April 16, 2010.  Deadline for Vendor Booth Applications is April 26.
